CONNECTING YOUR WORLD

The latest technology features designed to help you keep a firm grip on your world — and the road.

EVEN THE TECHNOLOGY IS DESIGNED TO PERFORM

Knowledge is king. Nissan’s state-of-the-art SATNAV system keeps you one step ahead. With a 9.2 GB hard drive music storage, large 7” touch screen and voice recognition in 7 languages, it brings you high-definition 3D maps.

PUSH BUTTON IGNITION

Now you never have to take your keys out of your pocket or bag again. Designed to work in conjunction with the Nissan Intelligent Key, this ingenious little button makes starting and stopping the Nissan 370Z a snap. To start, just tap the button while holding your foot on the brake. Tap again, and the engine turns itself off.

NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY

Nissan Intelligent Key senses your approach to the car and allows you to unlock the door by just tapping a button on the handle. Once inside, you can start the engine without ever putting a key in the ignition.

SPACE FOR EVERYTHING

While the Nissan 370Z is designed to attack your favourite set of curves, it’s also designed to function in day-in, day-out driving.

SEAT BELT TECHNOLOGIES

The seatbelts include pretensioners with sensors to determine the severity of a potential crash and instantly tighten accordingly. Should additional force be exerted on the seatbelt, load limiters allow appropriate give so as to reduce any damaging pressure on the torso of front seat occupants.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE PROTECTION

The Nissan Advanced Airbag System includes dual-stage supplemental front airbags equipped with seatbelt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. These dual-stage airbags adjust their inflation rate depending on the severity of impact and seatbelt use. If the passenger seat is empty, a sensor actually deactivates that airbag. In addition, standard side-impact supplemental airbags are built into the seats, so they move with you as you adjust your seat. Standard curtain side impact supplemental airbags help protect you and your passenger.

ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINTS

Front-seat Active Head Restraints help reduce the chances of whiplash injuries to front-seat occupants by moving up and forward during certain rear-end collisions.

WHEN YOU NEED TO STOP

The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) pumps the brakes faster than you possibly could, helping to maintain steering control by preventing the wheels from locking. If you have cargo in the boot, Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) will detect the added weight and send extra force to the rear brakes, while Brake Assist (BA) applies maximum braking power to help you stop quicker. If oversteer or understeer is detected, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) can reduce engine power and apply brake pressure to specific wheels to help maintain your desired path.
